Evaluation: Long and athletic post player with a great motor. Tyler is at his best inside doing the dirty work by blocking shots and coming up with physical rebounds. Offensively he has the speed to run the lanes and jumping ability to finish plays well above the rim. Developing back to the basket game but still raw with the ball in his hands, Herron scores mostly off of teammate setups or offensive rebounds.

Bottom Line: As he develops his back to the basket game he will become one of the top prospects in the state of Ohio in ’14. Good athlete who plays hard and has a very high ceiling, expect his recruitment to really pick up as his sophomore season begins.
