Evaluation: Skilled offensive player with a high basketball IQ that can play any position on the offensive end. Smooth ballhandler that has played some PG and can post up against smaller opponents with nice back to the basket moves. Aldridge thrives as a face up wing where he can get off his silky pull-up jumper in a Dirk Nowitzki style. Able to attack the rim and use his length and coordination to score around the rim with good creativity.
Bottom Line: Hardworking prospect with great offensive versatility and the size to continue in that mold at the college level, Aldridge is one of Ohio’s top prospects and should be heavily recruited.
