Evaluation: Pure shooting combo guard that is both highly skilled and competitive. Deep range with a silky release from distance where he only needs a second to get off his shot. Strong build and good speed allow him to use his tight handle to attack the paint for pull-up jumpers or to go to the rim and finish through contact. Willing passer with good vision that is able to play the PG spot. Hardworking defender that can guard all SG’s and most PG’s, although he will struggle against small and quick guards.
Bottom Line: Elijah made more improvement then any prospect in Ohio from the end of his freshman season to his sophomore year, more improvement should be on the way for him. An athletic and pure shooting combo guard he should be a mid-major recruit at least and will generate high major interest.
