Evaluation: Athletic power forward with size and length who wants to develop into and inside-outside four-man, but currently is most effective running the floor, finishing above the rim and rebounding with athleticism. Like most young bigs, Gaffney is still adding strength, but he has nimble feet and a solid skill-set where he can hit the mid-range jumper, sees the open man out of double teams and generally has a good feel for the game of basketball. Has high-end potential as he develops into the next well known big man out of Cleveland VASJ HS.
