Evaluation: The state’s biggest threat to score a “quiet 20 points”, McDay is a pure winner and a jack-of-all-trades guards with no true weaknesses to his game. He’s a bit of a position-less wing who can attack with a controlled, physical drive, can pass the ball, makes open shots with consistency and is an absolute hound defensively with deceptive athleticism and quickness who can guard multiple positions. McDay is far from Ohio’s prettiest player, but he’s certainly one of the most efficient in 2019, and is a future NCAA D1 player.
