Evaluation: Athletic combo guard with a defensive mindset, great length and the athleticism to impact the game on both ends, Blanton turned heads as a sophomore, showing that he’s more then just an athlete. Capable, but developing, outside shooter with time and space, Blanton is very good off the dribble or in transition as a finisher, but also has the ability to play point guard given Trotwood’s other scoring talent. Like many Trotwood prospects, Blanton is also a standout football player.
