Evaluation: Big time spot-up shooter who is a mix between a big wing and a face-up hybrid power forward who can stretch the defense; Whisman is perhaps Ohio’s premiere shooter in the 2020 class, as he has a picturesque release with soft touch well beyond the three-point line. Whisman also shows a solid feel for the game as a passer and an all-around offensive player; however, we do want to see him be more aggressive at times. Needs to add weight to his frame over the next few years, but has tremendous skills for his size at 6’7.
