Evaluation: Defensive minded combo guard with elite athleticism, a strong frame and both a tough and competitive approach to the game, McBride is a guard who is always making winning plays. He’s known first and foremost as a defender; however, McBride is also a very capable scorer in transition by attacking the rim, off the dribble in the half-court or in the mid-range game with his improving jumper. Capable of playing both guard spots, as McBride’s shooting range continues to improve, he could end up being Ohio’s top all-around guard in the 2019 class.
