Evaluation: Versatile do-it-all forward with elite athleticism, length and a tremendous motor, Ward is one of the most promising young forwards in Ohio as he oozes upside every time he steps on the court. Has the feet and size to guard multiple positions, and is a threat to rip and run coast-to-coast after every defensive rebound. Has a wing’s handle and is capable of getting to the basket off the bounce, but is probably even better suited as the roll man in ball-screens or on the offensive glass. The pieces are still coming together, but Ward is without question a name to follow in 2020.
