Evaluation: Power wing with a tweener game, Blanton is a combo forward who projects down the road as a true small forward, and, while he might not have ideal size, Blanton has the strength and athleticism to make up for some of his lack of size. Has a fairly mature all-around game but gets his best work done by using his body to carve out space in the mid post to attack the basket, Blanton is also a volume rebounder who can impact the game defensively. Will have to continue to improve his perimeter skill-set, but Blanton is a flat out beast from fifteen feet and in.
