Evaluation: Versatile inside-outside forward with an unorthodox but effective game, Batte can hurt defenses with his jump-shooting, interior finishing, off the dribble as a passer and maybe most effectively as an offensive rebounder. A hard-working player with a little bit of a mean streak, Batte really upped his consistency during a breakout junior season at Oak Hills. He might not have a true position and he’s not a great leaper, but Batte is strong, skilled, tough and gets the job done.
