Evaluation: Big time athlete on the football field who has been making the transition to the basketball court as well, Mattress is a high flyer with power and toughness. While he still isn’t very skilled, Mattress has a great motor and can impact the game around the rim as a rebounder, finisher and tough defender. Although he doesn’t have pure power forward size, Mattress makes up for it with physical gifts and is better suited for that position than he is for the small forward at this time.
