Terry Rozier is our Pre-Season favorite for Mr. Basketball in Ohio

1. Terry Rozier 6’0 Sr. PG/WG – Shaker Heights – Dynamic scoring point guard. Terry is very athletic and skilled. He is probably the most talented and productive player in the state. He has signed with Louisville.

2. Adolphus Washington 6’4 Jr. PF – Cincinnati Taft – He has been a dominating player in high school since his freshman year (Football and Basketball). A man in the paint. Last year’s division III player of the year. Committed to play Football at Ohio State.

3. Marc Loving 6’8 Jr. PF/WF – Toledo St. John – Skilled, long and athletic combo forward. State’s top Junior and a consensus top 30 player nationally. A lot of it has to do with his potential. If he realizes his potential this season he will win the award hands down. Committed to Ohio State.

4. Devon Scott 6’8 Sr. PF/C – Columbus Northland – Big strong and athletic post. Dominator inside. Has really improved over the last 4 years. Probably the best player on the best team in Ohio. Signed with Dayton

5. Jalen Robinson 6’7 Sr. PF – Columbus Northland – If Scott is not the best player at Northland then Robinson is. A skilled 4 man that can score on the low block or out to 18 feet. Signed with Dayton

6. Reggie McAdams 6’6 Sr. WF – Elida – You might not know who he is but the kid can play. Has signed with Akron. Can shoot and score. Was a star Quarterback on the H.S. Football team also.

7. Deontae Hawkins 6’7 Sr. PF/WF – Dayton Dunbar – Long and skilled combo forward. Good shooter with his feet set. 3 year starter. Has signed with Wichita State.

8. Nigel Hayes 6’7 Jr. PF/WF – Toledo Whitmer – Skilled combo forward is the go to guy for Whitmer. Been a star since he was a freshman. Big time footballer too.

9. Tony Farmer 6’6 Jr. WF – Garfield Heights – A grown man. Big with improving skills. Solid shooter to 17 feet and can do some things off the dribble too.

10. Jack Gibbs 5’10 Jr. PG – Westerville North – Scoring point guard is a winner. He is tough as nails and simply makes plays. Sleeper…but he is good!
