Luke Kennard

6 Sep

Name: Luke Kennard

Height: 6’5
Weight: 175

Position: Shooting Guard/Small Forward

School: Franklin
Hometown: Franklin, OH

AAU: King James
Class: 2015

Evaluation: Lefty with great versatility as a full package offensive threat. Kennard is a capable shooter out to the three point line, can handle the ball and pass with great court vision, and is best when attacking the rim and scoring over or around defenders. Tremendous slasher that can hit tough shots and has an unlimited arsenal of moves. Uses his length and above average athleticism to his advantage very well. At a young age has already learned how to dominate his age group and take over games both in school ball and the national AAU circuit.

Bottom Line: Luke is the elite 2015 prospect in Ohio as a versatile wing who just simply makes plays. If he continues improving at his current pace there is no reason why he can’t be one of the top prospects in the country, and an impact college player at the high major level.

Notes: Kennard already has offers from Ohio State, West Virginia, Michigan, Xavier and Dayton; along with interest from Purdue, Michigan State, Kentucky, Cincinnati and many more. Many national scouts are projecting him as a top 50 player in the country in the class of 2015.
