Evaluation: Skilled combo guard that is a high level scorer at any level of play. Versatile approach to getting his points where he is not only a shooter but a true scorer. Shows a picture perfect stroke from behind the arc and high level consistency on his jumper. Adept at getting into the paint and hitting tough shots over the defense Zach is used to carrying the load for a team. Strong ballhandler that can play the PG spot when necessary he has shown the ability to get his points both on and off the ball.
Bottom Line: Division I prospect as a scoring combo guard McCormick appears to be highly motivated to succeed. Shows a killer intensity but needs to shot it every night, with the right mentality he can be one of the elite scoring guards in Ohio regardless of class.
