Evaluation: Undersized but extremely strong post player that displays a warrior like intensity on the floor. Mike will always have a spot on the floor because he defends and rebounds on such a high level, and with passion. Has quick feet considering his bulk and can guard perimeter players but is best when overpowering post players with his low center of gravity. Rebounds anything and everything that comes off the rim. Capable offensive player who is best as a finisher but is developing moves of his own.
Bottom Line: Versatile defender and great rebounder who plays his role to perfection in HS and AAU. Will be an interesting prospect to watch develop as he will have to make the offensive transition to the wing, but he certainly shows signs of the work ethic to do so.
Notes: Standout football prospect who could go the gridiron route in college.
