Mark Williams

26 Aug

Name: Mark Williams

Height: 6’7
Weight: 210

Position: Power Forward

School: Benedictine
Hometown: Cleveland, OH

AAU: King James
Class: 2013

Evaluation: Mark has a man’s body, can run and jump, is extremely skilled, and has an automatic jumper from inside 15 feet. Very promising offensive future as he has a back to the basket game with strength and good touch around the rim and is now learning to play on the wing. Still getting there from a ballhandling perspective but his passing and shooting abilities make him a adequate wing at the moment. Pure scorer that plays with energy and toughness on the court. Passionate on the boards and defends with physicality.

Bottom Line: Versatile prospect that can play SF, PF, or C with continued development Mark has high-major potential. Very talented athlete that should continue to improve and become more efficient on the offensive end.

Notes: Has interest from most of the MAC and the Atlantic 10 as well as slight interest from high-majors such as Michigan, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Xavier, and Ohio State.
