Evaluation: Smooth guard with a long wingspan and a nice jumpshot Devin is primarily a PG that can play on the wing as well. Adept ballhandler that simply does not turn the ball over he doesn’t appear to be moving fast but always gets by his man. Able to score in the lane off of a pull-up or use his length to finish around the rim he is still best scoring the ball from behind the arc. Talented prospect to continue to evaluate as he improves.
Bottom Line: Devin is a nice mid-major prospect as a combo guard with a high IQ that is capable of scoring lots of points. Needs to establish more of a killer instinct but has unquestionable talent.
Notes: Standout football recruit as well that is receiving significant interest in both sports from the MAC, including a basketball offer from Akron.
