Evaluation: Smooth shooting combo guard who goes for big numbers consistently when given shots or can play his role on a team. Very deep range and the confidecne to shoot behind the NBA line Jalen is a tough matchup has he is able to use his tight handle to attack the defense and pull up on a dime when he has space. Shows good open floor speed in transition and the court vision to find teammates running lanes.
Bottom Line: Very skilled combo guard that will be interesting to follow this year at Westerville North. Has shown the ability to be a consistent high level contributor off the bench at Northland but now he will called upon to be one of the primary scoring options at Westerville North. Our guess is that Benton will have a breakout year.
