Evaluation: Athletic and powerful post player with sky high potential. DeMonte likes to operate in the high post where he can attack off the dribble or the low block where he can use his power and pounce to explode up at the rim. Decent touch around the basket but is able to get his hands on the ball of the glass where he rebounds with strength. Shows an inconsistent motor, if he can constantly play with high energy he is an extremely intriguing prospect.
Bottom Line: Coaches have wondered where the production has been from Flannigan. For someone who possessses all the tools to be a dominant force he does have games with little impact. When motivated he is talented of a PF as there is in the country, with two years left to put the pieces of the puzzle together he should become at least a mid-major target.
