Sterling Gilmore

24 Aug

Name: Sterling Gilmore

Height: 5’10
Weight: 170

Position: Point Guard

School: Walnut Hills
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH

AAU: Queen City Prophets
Class: 2013

Evaluation: Dual threat PG that can shoot the ball or set up teammates with ease. Handles the ball very well and uses hesitation and crossovers to create space to get off his jumpshot which is lethal inside of 25 feet. When he plays a focused game he does a very good job of staying under control, using his strong basketball IQ, and making the right plays. Quick feet and a strong core make him an effective defender of opposing PG’s.

Bottom Line: Sterling should be a Division I recruit as he has the total PG package of handles, court vision, IQ, and leadership to go along with scoring ability and quick feet.
