Evaluation: Skilled and tough forward with a nice touch and a physical mindset, ‘Quez will not be outworked on the court by anyone. Developing offensive game that can focus on his finesse moves in the post or powerful lower body to drive back the defense. Very productive rebounder on both ends of the court and a hard working defender. Has added some wing skills to his game including a very nice touch from the three point line and mid-range as well as some solid passing skills out of the high post.
Bottom Line: While he doesn’t have great size or athleticism Marquez is a workhorse and a winner that should have a successful college career somewhere. Very skilled and not afraid to exchange blows down on the block with anyone he can impact the game at the college level in several ways.
