Evaluation: Athletic combo guard with the ability to fill up the score sheet in a hurry. Dangerous slasher with a lightning quick first step, top flight open speed in the full court, and major bounce “KJ” is near impossible to stay in front of when he has a head of steam. Nice change of direction and change of speed moves have increased his effectiveness and made him even more of a threat as has his increased consistency on his mid-range jumper (which he now hits more often then he misses). Better shooter then he gets credit for from deep when his feet are set he also has solid court vision and is improving on making his teammates better. Dominant rebounder and even better defender who really gives maximum effort on the court at all times.

Bottom Line: Viewed by college coaches as a high major prospect, they just aren’t sure if he is more fit to play the PG or SG. High major athlete all the way with a killer mentality and good ball skills KJ needs to continue to work on his point guard instincts if he wants to be a top PG, but he certainly is a top prospect.
