Rozelle Nix

23 Aug

Name: Rozelle Nix

Height: 6’10
Weight: 280

Position: Center

School: Withrow
Hometown: Cincinnati,OH

AAU: GameTime Magic
Class: 2012

Evaluation: Enormous frame with a bigger heart Rozelle works relentlessly on improving his low post game and his conditioning. His huge hands, height, and length allow him to be a game changing shotblocker and high level rebounder on both ends of the floor. His foot speed still is improving and he needs to work on defending the pick and roll but he is a massive space eater in the lane. Offensively he is not just a stickback guy anymore but has developed a solid hook shot and drop step game revolving around his one of a kind strength. A much improved shooting stroke allows him to convert short face-up shots and finish his FT’s.

Bottom Line: “Big Ro” has made more improvement then any player in the state and has turned himself into a legitimate Division I center. His upside is enormous, like his body, and with a college strength and conditioning program the sky is the limit for Rozelle.

Notes: Tulsa is his current leader with Kent State, Toledo, Bowling Green, and others showing interest.
