Keevin Tyus

23 Aug

Name: Keevin Tyus

Height: 6’3
Weight: 185

Position: Small Forward

School: West High
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH

AAU: None
Class: 2012

Evaluation: Late blooming scorer has put all his gifts together to become an elite prospect. Big time athlete with strength and a recklessly physical mentality Keevin can get to the rim at will and is a premier finisher at the rim. Finds ways to score inside 15 feet with pull-up jumpers, floating shots, and power dunks he simply won’t be denied his impact on the game. Non-stop motor allows him to be effective on the glass, the defensive end, and be the first one up and down the floor each possession.

Bottom Line: Tough to project as a college player as he missed his AAU season due to injury and is a late bloomer. Has the talent level to make a college team better and has passion to improve. Someone will take a chance on him as an unpolished diamond in the rough. Division II schools can get him as a steal at this point.

Notes: Tyus will be attending Columbus State Junior College.
