Height: 6’0
Weight: 195
Position: Shooting Guard
School: Taft
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH
AAU: All-Ohio Purple
Class: 2012
Evaluation: Consummate glue guy that is always in the right place at the right time. Defensive master that uses his strength to guard bigger opponents but can guard quicker opponents thanks to his defensive IQ. A true work-horse that never takes plays off Jermaine comes up with timely defensive plays consistently in HS and AAU. Offensively he is a shifty handler who can penetrate and finishes very well around the rim thanks to his strength and love of contact.
Bottom Line: If your making a list of top teammates his name won’t be far down the list, the catch is that ‘maine can really play as well! Defender, leader, and a strong offensive player who makes good decisions he should be able to play immediately in college because of his IQ.
Notes: DII schools are showing interest, also considering college football, hit the game winning FT’s with no time on the clock in the ’09 AAU National Championship game.
