Devon Carter

23 Aug

Name: Devon Carter

Height: 6’1
Weight: 165

Position: Shooting Guard

School: John Hay
Hometown: Cleveland, OH

AAU: King James Shooting Stars
Class: 2012

Evaluation: Versatile scoring guard can play either spot but is best when playing attack minded offensive basketball. Mid-range specialist is great at getting to the foul line area and pulling up for a jumper. Ballhandling skills are good enough to play the point and he has the quickness to take on other point men.

Bottom Line: Can flat out score the basketball and should do so down the road at the Division I level somewhere. Carter should have another outstanding season statistically at John Hay.

Notes: Committed to Lehigh of the Patriot League on November 6th.
