Evaluation: The quintessential point guard “Lil’ O” is a floor general capable of running an offense or producing highlight reel assists. By using his small stature to his benefit, Orlando, who dribbles the ball like it’s on a string, can get to prime spots on the floor at will. He is a consistently good decision maker who rarely forces the issue or takes a bad shot. A decent spot up shooter who can hit from deep when he has time Berry is more of a distributor then scorer. Defensively he again uses his small size, and ultra quick feet, to his advantage by pestering his opponent and picking the pockets of some of the best point guards.
Bottom Line: His lack of size will always cause him to be overlooked but Orlando can really play. A 100% pure PG with miles of heart and an uncanny knack for winning close games he will be able to contribute at the next level.
Notes: Is receiving a lot of Division II looks right now and also has some low major Division I interest.
