Evaluation: “Bubba” is a pure shooting point guard with killer speed in the open floor. A scoring machine that can get to the rim with a low and quick crossover he has the ability to finish over taller opponents with a nice floater. Capable of shooting from way deep off the dribble or the spot up the defense always needs to account for him inside of half court. Also is a creative passer, who might force the issue a little too much, but can make plays. Defensively it is his quick feet that all him to be a pickpocket but he can be bullied by more physical guards.
Bottom Line: A terrific junior season established “Bubba” as one of Cincinnati’s top players, he should make a solid change of pace scoring point guard off the bench in college where his quickness and jumpshot can really impact games.
