Kendall Beamon

22 Aug

Name: Kendall Beamon

Height: 6’1″
Weight: 175

Position: Shooting guard

School: Withrow
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio

AAU: Queen City Prophets
Class: 2012

Evaluation:  Combo guard that is known for his three point shooting ability,  Kendall is a versatile role player on both ends of the floor.  A willing defender who can guard a quicker PG or a bigger SG he has the length to slow down opposing scorers. Offensively he is at his best when looking for his jumper whether it be off the bounce, the spot up, or in transition. Kendall is also a capable ballhandler with a nice crossover move.

Bottom Line: Beamon is a little bit of a late bloomer as he just came onto the scene in his 17u AAU season with the Prophets. Definitely possesses the tools to be a college player down the road and should improve over his senior season with more and more varsity experience.
