Evaluation: Trice is a smaller combo guard that can really shoot the basketball. He’s capable of playing either spot efficiently, and as the son of a coach he has a nice feel for the offensive end. Scorer that can spark runs as he is able to string together several shots in a hurry when left open. Tough competitor who should become a really solid off-guard as he continues to grow.
Bottom Line: We view Trice as more of a shooting guard, but right now his size dictates that he plays mostly point. He’s very skilled and the only thing that can hold him back is a lack of size.
