Class: 2013
Evaluation: “Boo” is a strong combo guard with a good feel for the offensive end of the floor. At times he isn’t as aggressive as need be, but he makes up for it by playing a relatively mistake free brand of basketball. He’s capable of playing the set-up role as a pure ballhandler, or going off of the ball and becoming more of a penetrator. With his strong frame, Osborne is a capable defender who’s quickness makes him more suited to guard off-guards then smaller point men. Doesn’t take a ton of perimeter jumpers, but shows above average touch when he does.
Bottom Line: “Boo” is a borderline D1/D2 recruit who could end up at either level depending on how successful he is during his senior season at Centennial. He needs to continue to be more assertive on the offensive end, but he has the skill set and body that Division I college coaches are seeking.
